Mine Antarctica Garden & Luck
Plant the right crystals, claim free +1 Luck, and stop selling your future rares.
Luck is a progression stat
Mine Antarctica hides a second economy inside the obvious Cash loop. Crystals are not only Gem Buyer food — some belong in your garden, where they raise Mining Luck and improve the odds of better finds on future climbs. Players who sell every sparkle stay stuck on common drops even after unlocking higher altitudes with Climb Higher.
This guide explains when to plant, when to sell, how the free group bonus stacks, and how Luck interacts with hourly Mountain RNG resets. Pair it with Getting Started if you are still learning the sell teleport, and with the pickaxe tier list once dig speed — not rarity — is the bottleneck.
Free Luck before you optimize anything
Do these once per account:
- Like Mine Antarctica on Roblox.
- Join the PolarMine Games community.
- Confirm the advertised +1 Mining Luck bonus applied.
That single point is permanent free value. No code currently replaces it (none are active in October 2026), and no pickaxe purchase grants the same passive.
How the garden works
At base you can place crystals into garden slots instead of selling them. Crystals that carry strong Luck values contribute to your digging luck while they remain planted. Exact UI labels can shift after patches, but the design intent from the official description stays stable: place crystals in your garden for more digging luck.
Practical habits:
- Inspect Luck-related stats on a crystal before you auto-sell stacks.
- Plant the best Luck holders you can afford to keep.
- Sell low-Luck bulk for Climb Higher / Carry More / pickaxe Cash.
- Revisit the garden after big hauls — upgrades in your loadout should match upgrades in your planter.
You will not get a guaranteed rarity from one legendary-looking shard. Luck is probabilistic. Think of the garden as compounding interest, not a lootbox coupon.
Sell vs keep decision tree
Ask in order:
- Am I broke on Climb Higher? If cold is ending runs, sell almost everything except outstanding Luck pieces.
- Is this crystal a clear Luck upgrade for an empty or weak garden slot? Plant it.
- Is my garden already strong and I need the next pickaxe or Carry More level? Sell duplicates and mid gems.
- Is a hourly reset in ten minutes and I want bomb/radar Cash? Liquidate non-essential crystals at the Gem Buyer.
New players err toward selling 100% of loot. Intermediate players err toward hoarding everything “for Luck” and then cannot afford warmth. Balance is the skill.
Luck × height × pickaxe
Luck does not teleport you up the mountain. Without Climb Higher you simply roll better loot inside low bands. Without a decent pickaxe you spend so long breaking rock that hourly resets outpace you. Ideal stacking order:
- Claim group +1 Luck.
- Fund enough Climb Higher to enter better bands (see the Climb Higher guide).
- Plant garden Luck so those bands pay rare crystals more often.
- Raise Power / Mine Size so you clear the lucky nodes quickly.
- Add bombs & radars to locate targets faster on fresh mountains.
Gamepasses such as 2x Lucky Digs or 4x Lucky Digs multiply the same idea with Robux — value notes on the Gamepasses Hub. They complement a garden; they do not replace planting.
Hourly Mountain RNG and Luck
Every hour the Antarctic mining zone reshuffles. Luck shines on fresh layouts because you get a clean set of nodes to sample. A strong garden makes each reset feel like a new gacha pull with better odds. Weak gardens make every reset feel identical and disappointing.
Reset routine:
- Sell or plant from the previous hour’s bag.
- Check garden composition quickly.
- Climb into the highest band your warmth allows.
- Spend a radar early if crystal density is unclear.
- Bank Cash toward the next progression buy before the hour ends.
Common Luck mistakes
- Ignoring the like/join bonus for weeks.
- Selling a high-Luck crystal to afford a cosmetic-tier pickaxe jump you did not need yet.
- Filling the garden with pretty but low-Luck junk.
- Blaming Mountain RNG while standing in a low band with zero garden investment.
- Using scripts that spoof rarity — PolarMine issues permanent bans for unauthorized software.
Mid and late game garden goals
As Cash scales into the millions and billions, garden quality should scale too. Replace early placeholders whenever a clearly superior Luck crystal drops. Late pickaxes (Twilight Cleaver through Genesis Core) clear so fast that Luck becomes the difference between “Max Mine Size looking busy” and “Max Mine Size printing rare stock for even more garden upgrades.”
After economy patches, re-check whether PolarMine changed Luck tooltips on the Updates Hub. The garden concept remains a pillar of the fantasy either way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Should I sell crystals or put them in the garden?
Plant crystals with strong Luck values. Sell low-Luck bulk at the Gem Buyer when you need Cash for Climb Higher, Carry More, or pickaxes.
How do I get +1 Mining Luck for free?
Like Mine Antarctica and join the PolarMine Games group. The experience description advertises +1 Mining Luck for that combo.
Does Luck guarantee rare crystals?
No. Luck improves odds. You still need height access, a usable pickaxe, and time on each hourly mountain layout.
Do lucky dig gamepasses replace the garden?
No. 2x or 4x Lucky Digs stack with garden Luck and the group bonus; they do not remove the value of planting.
Why is my rarity still bad after planting?
You may be mining too low for your warmth, holding weak garden crystals, or missing the group like/join bonus. Fix those before buying scripts.
